SOUTH DEARBORN YOUTH BASEBALL & SOFTBALL - AURORA
Strengthening Community
GETTING TO KNOW US
SDYBS-A is dedicated to the reinforcement of our youth
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of baseball/softball and good sportsmanship. We want to help our players develop character and strive to instill in our youth the respect of coaches, parents, umpires and other players. The idea of self-respect and the passion for hard work is a corner stone of our organization. We stress the need for teamwork and citizenship on and off the playing field.
Our league includes 5 to 12 year old boys and girls from Aurora, Lawrenceburg, Rising Sun, Moores Hill, Manchester, Milan, Dillsboro, Ohio & Kentucky. We have mandatory playing rules, which insure playing time for every player. We make sure that any player, regardless of economic or social background, is allowed to participate in the league. We feel baseball/softball is for anyone who wants to be part of a team.

SEI BASEBALL LEAGUE RULES (2023)
Wondering what the rule is for that?
The SEI Baseball league was created to organize the schedules and rules between the local leagues in Southeast Indiana. This allows consistent play when playing games.
These rules have been adopted by each of the following leagues for use when playing teams outside of their organization: Aurora, Rising Sun, Dillsboro, Manchester, Lawrenceburg, Sunman-Dearborn, Switzerland County, Franklin County, Batesville & Milan.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
WE NEED YOU!
SDYBS-A does not exist without its volunteers. We do not have unlimited funds, field fairies, on staff concession workers, or MLB maintenance workers, coaches or managers.
The season is totally reliant on YOU as an individual, taking the time to share yourself with the players, and helping when you can. An hour here and an hour there make a big difference in a young person life.

CONCESSION STAND
(All season long)
HELP WHEN YOU'RE NOT PLAYING
The fees paid for REGISTRATION only cover a small portion of the leagues operating cost. A large portion our yearly budget of around $45,000 is covered by concession sales. Please consider covering a shift when your player is not on the field so that other parents can watch their kids play. If every family volunteered for 1 shift every three weeks (roughly twice a season) that is all it would take to cover all shifts! Stop in at the concession stand for more information.
